Celebrate my 47th birthday with me by supporting CitySquare and our fight against poverty!
I can't believe that I'm turning 47 years old this year! I have a lot to be grateful for - a wonderful, loving family, more friends than I can count, and work that is meaningful and that gives me purpose. Every day, I find inspiration among my colleagues and the neighbors we serve at CitySquare. For my birthday this year, I would like to invite you to be a part of that.
If you have heard me talk about CitySquare and the work we do, you know that it is very personal to me. If not, and you'd like to learn more, please take a moment and check out this video.
Last year, our food pantry distributed more than two million pounds of food to hungry families. We delivered more than 400,000 meals to children. Our clinic treated 1,295 patients and transported at least 1,000 more to medical and mental health appointments all over the city. We housed 732 neighbors. Supported 753 foster kids as they transition into adulthood. Trained 186 in hospitality and construction trades. Helped collect more than $1,000,000 in child support for 422 children. In total, we served 43,000 Dallas area neighbors! CitySquare makes a profound impact on our neighbors’ lives and on the City of Dallas!
I've made a goal to get at least 47 of my friends to donate $10 to CitySquare to celebrate my birthday today. Any amount helps, so please, give as you are able to.
You can make your donation online by clicking the donation link. You can also send a check made out to CitySquare with my name in the memo line.
